First official SUMMER weekend.

It was superb.

Unfortunately, when you live in Eastern Idaho, summer doesn't show itself until mid-July.

But when it finally does, it's glorious!

Our destination: Ross Water Park in Pocatello, Idaho.

(Sleeping in the car...thank goodness. No nap+ loads of sun= Mr Crabbypants)

Highlights included:

*Bobbing on the lazy river with the Kate-ster*

*Having Devon and Amy join us*

*Sandies and Powerade*

*Laughing as the frustrated lifeguards fished "contaminants" out of the kiddie pool*

*Devouring my first 5 Guys burger*

*Country music blaring from the speakers for 5 hours without Riley changing the station*

*Shooting hoops with H in the pool*

This nearly perfect day came to a close by rubbing aloe vera all over our charred bodies and having the most sound sleep we've enjoyed in ages.
