Independence Day should always be on Sunday. That makes it a full weekend of celebration! This year we partied with the best of company.
On Saturday, we enjoyed the usual Rexburg festivities. Parade, festival in the park, summer potluck, minute-to-win-it challenges, and fireworks. Early that morning, I ran the Liberty 5k with Katy and Taylor to counteract the mass quantities of salt water taffy and fried chicken I'd surely consume later that day. Official time: 28:20.
After church Sunday, we travelled to Idaho Falls to have dinner with one of our favorite families, the Landeens. No pictures. Dropped the ball on that one. Highlights= laughing with those crazy girls, volleyball, and an off-the-charts meal prepped by Jennifer.
Monday we spent at the Hall's family farm. Cows, tractors, dirt, rocks, friends....Hinder was in heaven. We joined Dustin and Natalie at Natalie's parents house for hot dog roast, lawn games, Wii, and more fireworks.
