(Hinder devouring Ben & Jerry's at the gateway flashing a "smile")
Thanks to the hubs and his great job, we had a little vacation to Salt Lake City.
Just a quick trip...about 24 hours.
The Highlights:
1. Cheesecake Factory. Have you seen the size of the menu? Heavy reading, let me tell ya!
2. Fabulous girl talk with Katy on the balcony of the Hilton. Thank goodness for having a friend that totally gets me.
3. Les Madeleines pastries. Ever heard of Kouing-Aman? I hadn't either, but not I can think of nothing else. Think flaky, caramel heaven.
4. Scoring sweet deals at the Shade sale at Gateway. Thank you 40% off!
5. Sweet bliss of having a few more precious hours hanging with Riley.

that was SO MUCH FUN!!!! you forgot a few things that i'll graciously add:
- playing BLINK in the hallway like a bunch of teenagers getting kicked out of the hotel room because we're too rambunctious.
- our kids willingly and repeatedly bashing their faces into the ground at the swimming pool... seriously... people are starting to talk about the bruises on Ava's face. and i resent that, because THOSE SPECIFIC BRUISES I DID NOT DO! :)
- sweating like a hog in heat while walking the three measly blocks to get our pastries... but truth be told, i'd walk even *4* blocks to get to that place!
- Ashley and I buying the same exact grey and white sweater vest that you did at Shade.
oh, you didn't know about that last one? yep. we totally copied you... and I'm planning it that every Wednesday is gonna be Triplets day. We'll all wear it together, link arms and walk through Wal-Mart with perfectly matched steps. We're cool.
ok, just kidding, we're not doing that because being seen with skinny minny Ash in her vest would make me sad. and look like a nicely striped whale.
