Last week, we drove a for a few hours to meet up with my favorite people.
We drove for three hours, they drove for seven.
This is what it looked like in their car.
After 7 hours in a minivan, I don't blame them.
Montana was beautiful, despite the snow and mud and cold.
Lots of chasing and screaming among the cousins.
But the reason for the visit...
My sweet daddy turned 50!
Here he is, trying his luck with a few lotto tickets.
Not so lucky.
Maybe he'll be luckier with his birthday candle wish.
In reality, I'M the lucky one. Lucky to have Gordon Killian for my dad, mentor, and friend.
